How it Started

It began with one simple moment. Tiffany handed her first batch to her sister and asked her to try it. No expectations. No pressure. Just an honest taste test. Her sister tried it and immediately said the flavor stood out. That reaction lit the first spark.

Tiffany shared it with a few friends next and the feedback came quickly. People were enjoying it and asking for more. Her father, a chef with years of experience in both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, came over and shared techniques that refined the recipe and brought the flavors together.

What started as a small idea in the kitchen began to grow through skill, curiosity, and the support of the people around her. The recipe evolved. The flavor dialed in. The vision formed naturally through each batch and each piece of feedback.

Recipe Was Born

Tiffany made the first batch of chili oil at home and shared it with family and friends. The early feedback was strong and planted the seed for what would become 22 Chili Oil.

Summer of 2023
First store launch

The chili oil reached its first local shelves when Welco and Wing Wa welcomed the product. This was a store Tiffany had grown up going to with her family. It was a small start, but it proved there was real demand beyond friends and family.

Fall of 2024
Strengthening the Foundation

This year was about sharpening the recipe, strengthening the process, and staying steady through the challenges of everyday life. Things looked quiet from the outside, but the groundwork for the future was being built.

Path Forward
